BECAUSE I EVOLVED

Evolution is the course of nature..

I followed the path,

Being one of the creatures.

 

As a new born, I didn’t know anything..

Then I crawled,

Stumbled a thousand times..

But eventually learnt to walk..

Because I evolved…………

 

Growing up is a major characteristic of living beings

I grew up following the same things...

 

As a child,

I spoke a few words,

Without knowing what they meant..

Later learnt that they bear such a heavy weight,

Very distant from what I dreamt…

Because I evolved..

 

As a toddler,

Every argument of mine went to my mom to be dissolved..

But now I have managed to instill in me, 

The art of getting the problems solved…

Because I evolved…..

 

Since my birth,

I was beholding everything just as it was..

Without the meaning being deciphered,

Now I can perfectly interpret. 

if somebody being designated as an official,

is actually a shephered…

Because I evolved…

 

Every that individual who got me candies was nice,

Now if somebody does so..

I can tell the reason behind them for suddenly breaking the ice…

Because I evolved….

 

I was catching glimpse of everything,

No worries for something like hidden meaning to comprehend..

Growing up taught me that,

Every affable was not a friend……

 

Seeing smile on the faces for me was 

people actually being happy,

No idea of something like feigning....

As I grew up,

The world taught me that not all the pleasantries are true,

But some are just directed for personal gaining….

Because I evolved……….

 

Getting praised made me fill with a lot of confidence and honour

Now they tell me

Beware! Unusual praises are only done by a fawner....

 

 

I recall getting taught that,

Evolutions and growing up are good..

I wonder how..

When it made us lose fraternity and brotherhood..

They say growing up makes you more wise,

Now they completed the phrase by filling up that,

Its because you get the true eyes…

 

So I really wanted to grow up,

As fast as I could...

Didn’t know it would mean that

There is a lot of difference between what I do and what I should..

Because I evolved…

 

They taught us that we should help everyone,

And become their saviour..

Now they say..

don’t accept the help,

Because it comes with a tagline

"NEXT TIME DULY RETURN THE FAVOUR"…

 

Dear people...

Let's not make our evolution this scary,

Such that we as people be so wary…

Everything we say should not have a hidden agenda behind,

Dear living souls, let's be at least this much kind..

 

Here I am not showing a verbal crueltity

But just writing a bit of the reality..

 

Lets just not be so selfish,

So hard so bony..

Let's extend a helping hand to each other,

And make this place more cosy and homie..

Lets evolve…

Lets  not make fun of their flaws and imperfections,

Rather accept each other with open arms and lots of love and affection...

Lets evolve….
